Our Love Story

Their love story began in 5th grade when JM developed feelings for his childhood crush, Alyssa, whom he admired so much. As they moved from high school to college in 2012, JM made continuous efforts to connect with Alyssa, which culminated in a year of dating. She was the girl of his dreams. Unfortunately, Alyssa felt it was not the right time and ceased communication with JM in 2013, leaving him heartbroken. In the end, they decided to part ways and pursue their own paths.

Eight years later, in 2020, Alyssa had a dream of JM proposing to her. This seemed surprisingly unusual since they hadn’t communicated for a long while, Alyssa had already settled down in Australia and JM was preoccupied with his life in the Philippines. Interestingly, JM also dreamt of a future involving her.

In 2021, Alyssa prayed earnestly, offering her whole heart to the Lord and seeking guidance to find the right partner. This followed the end of a previous relationship that did not work out. She recalled a dream from 2020 in which JM proposed to her, prompting her to reach out. Initially, JM was reluctant to rekindle their connection, wary from a past heartbreak 11 years earlier. However, as they began to communicate, JM's feelings for Alyssa blossomed. In time, JM also turned to prayer before deciding to pursue a relationship with her.

And as they say, the rest is history.
